Behind the Scenes: Capturing AiIR IT's Copilot Agent-a-thon in 24 Hours

The Brief

AiIR IT brought together SMEs, Microsoft, and Barclays Eagle Labs for a day-long Copilot Agent-a-thon in Glasgow — a hands-on session exploring how businesses can build and use AI agents without needing a development team. Our job was to capture the energy of the day and turn it into share-ready content fast.

The brief was simple to state and demanding to deliver: full event photography and video coverage on location, three interviews across the organiser, partner and participant perspectives, and a polished highlight video ready for social media within 24 hours of wrap.

On the Ground in Glasgow

Our team spent the day embedded in the workshop, capturing candid photography alongside structured interview setups. We worked around the flow of the session rather than against it — catching genuine moments of collaboration as attendees worked through building their own AI agents in Microsoft Copilot, rather than staged reenactments.

Three interviews anchored the story:

• An organiser, speaking to the purpose behind the event and what AiIR IT hoped attendees would walk away with
• A partner representative, on why Microsoft and Barclays Eagle Labs backed the initiative
• A participant, sharing a first-hand account of building an AI agent on the day

Alongside the interviews, we shot a full library of b-roll: hands-on screen work, group discussions, whiteboard moments and the general buzz of the room — all the raw material needed for AiIR IT to keep telling this story long after the event itself.

The real challenge wasn't the shoot — it was the edit. With a 24-hour deadline, our team moved straight from location into post-production, cutting a highlight reel that captured the day's key themes:
